Nobody would love to sleep with a person who snores. That would be a total sleep disturbance and you won’t love that to happen. Yet, people cannot avoid the problem – snoring.
Why do people snores? Mostly, men snore than women. What are the causes of this situation? Are there medical solutions to this problem?
Causes of Snoring
Respiratory Obstruction. The air passage acts as the reservoir of oxygen to the lungs. However, when the air pathway is blocked, it will cause the pathway (trachea) to create a disturbing sound. More often, the obstruction happens due to rest of some important nasal components like the nasal palate.
Lifestyle. Alcoholics are mode prone to snore than those who don’t. Alcohol devastates the airway (it happens in the throat as much). Damage to the tissues of the throat causes the air not to pass straightly to the lungs while air exhalation is also affected. This situation causes the throat to vibrate causing snores.
Nasal problems. If you have colds, you more likely snore. Running nose affects the nasal activity causing the cilia and other tissues to contract causing snores. Allergies in the nasal pathway directly hamper the release of air out of the lungs.
There are several solutions that you may seek if you want to solve snoring; in some cases, snoring remains but the tendency can be reduced. For one, you sleep with your head elevated helping the passage of the air through your respiratory tract.
On some cases, a surgery is done to the nasal area to get anything that hamper the inhale and exhale f air. It is very important to undergo total observation before any medical operation be made. A caution: nasal operation may worsen snoring problem.
Solving snoring is really a big thing to consider and it is very important to keep good track new solutions to keep the problem under the box.

Sex Education In Reprint
For the past months, the DepEd and many sectoral groups of the country have passed a ball of thorns and wounds. Here are some facets of the move that should be considered:
Sex Education Iterinary
The DepEd wants to push through for a sex education of the youngsters to get them aware of the personal, hygienic, and health factors of sex. The program revolves around the establishment of ideas on how one can take good care of her or his life. The Department of Education of the country wants to teach our youngsters on how to deal with sex in the right way.
***Why is it that even the small kids be taught? Well, they say that the module is based on a systematic age to age process. That is fine. However, too much of the matter will not give proper education. One of the reasons why youngsters go after sex is peer pressure asserted by curiosity.
United Nations Yes Vote
The United Nations just issued a word for the approval of the item. The league said' "It is the obligation of thee state to ensure that all adolescent girls and boys are provided with accurate and appropriate information on how to protect their health and practice healthy behaviors."
***Healthy behaviors? Are you trying to tell me that sex is fine for as long as you practice healthy behaviors? Well, I believe in far better statement that you can give.
Religious Woes
Religious groups have been advocating the removal or stoppage of the education program. For them, it is not humane; it tries to snatch the liberty of the child to choose what must be put in his head. There is too much to total cancellation of the innocency of the lives among children. To the fact, there are religious groups whose doctrines and beliefs may be hindered or endangered because of this program.
***A point is made in there. However, that is just to general. If you are trying to say that liberty to choose what must be put in their head is a major concern, there are other children who want to learn the matter. There are parents who are fine with this program. Let us not try to advocate liberty while killing the freedom of the other.
In Depth
The Department of Education is just too late. And religious groups, especially the CBCP, are just obnoxious.
During my high school years in a Catholic school, sex education was taught with modules for hygiene, safe pregnancy, contraceptives and other portion in parenthood. There we go! That is total application of the program.
Then why many religious would cry their heart out in the streets when we are taught already? You are just wasting your time. You are killing your own self with a dagger. If you are advocating to no sex education, it should have been deleted out of the high school curricula I went to.
On the other hand, why would the great minds of the Department of Education push for the sex education among elementary and worst kindergarten? If you say, the module is different, and then tries to find another subject name for that. The department cannot even give adequate knowledge in various subjects right now in the foundational years of the child and now they want to add items for study. Are you nuts? You cannot even teach simple and major aspects of studies! Think it over.
I am not liberal with these views or am I extreme. What I am trying to say is let us take a balance with all these things before we take hasty generalization that will lead us to the ditch.

Worst of Education
The Worst of Education
The Department of Education has been bragging that they have produced the best of the people who are competent to work on any given tasks that are in the market. Yet, we can see millions of the nation's graduates languishing over unemployment while another million suffering from underemployment. Is this what they call competence in education?
Well, let us be balanced in this perspective. There are no possible jobs that are in the region to cope up with the problem of unemployment and underemployment. That maybe tells it!
However, education is the process of keeping people in the right track with every possible module that will help them to be prepared to face the real world with confidence. Education is the process of preparing people to be prepared to get jobs that will make them productive. Education is the preparation for people to apply their best effort to achieve the best they can do to themselves and to their immediate community.
But why the nation's graduates are not producing not a bit?
1. Our educational institutions failed to prepare their graduates with the necessary skill that will help them to produce something. Our education system has become a dull system following sets of rules that are not even comprehensive to the goal of productivity.
2. Our educational system failed to make competent people because of its weak implementation of the necessary educational tools. There is no real education of the citizenry; you can find colleges with weak faculties; weak facilities and weak facts. It will be easy for people to get a good grade even without a good work. It is easy for students to graduate even if they have only low grades and even knowledge. It is a sad fact that most of the gradutes this nation has, have grades just enough to pass.
What a mess! You can find that students are creating a damage to the system. This is no real learning with the graduates we have. You cannot get graduates with real and equipped knowledge of the matter they are taking in.

What Lies in the Education of this Nation
Let us try to find out the major things that will help us realize the best of our nation has been neglected without any source for further life. Education if let out will cause the total disarray of the nation. And the Philippine government has defaulted from its promise of equal literacy and advancement of learning for both poor and the rich, for the marginalized sector has been forgotten and was shrinking into total mess.
1. We can find in Sagay City, Negros two different schools. One is catering the rich and the other one for the poor. The school for the rich is still a public school run by the DepEd with special budget allocation from the City and some other foundations. The facilities are great with air conditioned rooms, spacious place for relaxation as well as great avenue for learning in its advanced library. Only the rich can enter the school; there is a janitor, maintenance personnel and such other auxiliary services which can be found in most private schools. For the note the school is public!
While on the other side of the land (just a border wall serves as a demarcation or should I say discrimination wall) the poor students (some are far intelligent that those in the other school) are languishing over non standard facilities, hot classrooms, poor instructional materials, and no support from the City education board. You can find in there the children of the working class who are giving their heart in most haciendas of the place.
I guess this is the real manifestation of rich and poor discrimination drawn not by the common people but by the government.
2. When I was pursuing my battle in high school, my math teacher said, "Filipinos are genius in mathematics; you can find the unschooled in the market getting success in business; you can find the unschooled getting success in marketing endeavors. We are genius but a fallen genius." Why?
Out there in the premier school of the country you can find such a great problem. They say that the UP is for bright, marginalized students because it is a public school chartered by thee government to promote learning to the people. But right now, it will be hard for a bright, enterprising but poor Filipino student to enter the UP. It would necessarily need the help of people who have influence such school and only the rich can do that.
Breach of Trust
You will argue? Years ago, students in UP will suffer to walk from miles to miles but now the parking area of the university is packed with different forms of cars. A state university? I guess not. Years ago, students in UP would try to get support from foundations to travel to other countries to further enhance their learning but right now a Up student would have his or her tour at his or her own expense because he or she can afford it. A school for poor students? I guess not.
You can find the poor but bright students struggling in other state universities and schools with lower funds. Yes, you can even hear these other state universities crying for funds and voicing the discrimination of the government because they cannot give equal funds for other universities unlike UP. But right in there, right in the hallways of these schools, you can find the bright Filipino students pursuing their learning. Right in there, the true meaning of a STATE SCHOOL is realized.
Well, as Martin Luther King addressed, he refuse to believe that the bank of justice in the country in bankrupt. Yes, I still believe that the justice system of the Philippines hasn't been into bankruptcy. I believe that we can still find some little hope in this country.
(I do not wish to point a finger to any of the schools that I have cited. But I know that if you who have been in any school that I mentioned, if you truly have won education) would understand this cause I am trying to make.
Readdress the country's education system and make this nation a nation of equality for the poor and the rich because if not the desire in making this country a better place, a better financial hub of Far East Asia will fail.
